Constantly explores new raw materials in the market for possible application to existing products and future new products

Constantly explores new raw materials in the market for possible application to existing products and future new products
Develops least cost alternatives to existing formulations using the identified raw material substitutes, ensuring the quality is comparable to existing formulations
Conducts laboratory experiments to determine compatibility of new raw materials with existing formulations
Works with Product Development/R&D Departments, Procurement, and Supply Chain to conduct testing and validation of new and/or alternative raw materials and formulations
Develops and finalizes specifications for alternative raw materials and formulations, targeting at least three (3) formulations per product as part of Business Continuity Plan (BCP).
Designs and/or synthesizes new ingredients for potential product application and actively utilizes new technologies and platforms for future new products
Maintains an accurate documentation for all projects and reports in physical and/or electronic form
Maintains and organizes a data bank or knowledge base of all technologies and platforms used or to be used in product development and ensures confidentiality of all projects

Possesses relevant work experience in research and development specifically in Home Care, Personal Care, Baby Care, and Health & Nutrition products.
Knowledgeable in all aspects of basic research and development
Highly creative, has keen attention to details, motivated, can work independently and a good team player
Project Management proficiency and able to perform assigned tasks in multiple disciplines such as formula/process development, manufacturing and analytical
Excellent oral and written communication skills and solid presentation skills
