Personal Collection surprised one unknowing market-goer with half a million worth of prizes during a suprise event, titled “Tataya Ka Ba?,” held at Pasig Public Market last September 13, 2019. The event aims to celebrate the Filipino entrepreneurial spirit by providing Filipinos, who have limited capital, the chance to start a business with only 150 pesos.
The “Tataya Ka Ba?” event features a game where random people are asked three questions by up-and-coming vloggers Hanash Pilipinas. Each correct answer is worth 50 pesos. Those who can answer all correctly will have the choice to keep their 150 pesos—the minimum amount one gives when starting a Personal Collection business—or risk it to spin the “Tataya Ka Ba?” roleta.
Crystalin, a vegetable vendor earning P250 a day, won prizes amounting to half a million pesos. Nature’s Way Aloe Vera System endorser Kim Chiu personally went to Pasig Market to surprise the lucky winner. The Chinita Princess awarded Crystalin with the following exciting prizes: a trip for four to Boracay, a top-of-the-line mobile phone, a brand new motorcycle, an appliance showcase, and P100,000 worth of Personal Collection products.
“Ang saya dahil sa PC, mayroon tayong kapamilyang napasaya at natulungan and nakita naman natin na sobra siyang happy and grateful. Nakita naman natin na naiiyak-iyak pa siya so nakakatuwa talaga,” Kim shared about her experience during the event.
Accompanying Kim are PC dealers who participated in the festivities and promoted Personal Collection through flyers and samples.
Overwhelmed by the surprises, Crystalin thanked Personal Collection for the very lucky day.
“Maraming maraming salamat po! Thank you po kay Kim Chiu, pati po sa PC. Mapapag-aral ko na po ‘yung dalawa kong kapatid,” the winner said.
Through “Tataya Ka Ba?”, Personal Collection hopes to create awareness among Filipinos that it is possible to start a business and provide a livelihood for your family with just only 150 pesos.
